Candy canes are a festive part of the holidays. They're colorful, available in a variety of shapes and sizes, and inexpensive. Here's how to decorate with these sweet treats!

Look for a set of three clear containers in staggered heights -- short, medium, and tall. Fill with candies in coordinated colors. We used red and white with a few touches of green. Choose bows and ornaments in the same colors. Hot-glue ornaments to the ribbon for more sparkle.

Supplies

  • Red-and-white peppermint sticks
  • Red hots or other candies such as spearmint jelly leaves or cinnamon jellies
  • Clear glass vases, bowls, or pedestal bowls
  • Red-and-white ribbons

Instructions

  1. Place a variety of candies in various glass containers.
  2. Tie colorful ribbons around the vases and use hot glue or wire to attach some small holiday ornaments for added appeal.
