What You Need:

Helping kids write their own thank-you cards teaches good manners.
  • Card stock
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick
  • Decorative motifs from kids' art
  • Recycled greeting cards
  • Postcards or other designs on medium-weight paper

Instructions:

1. Download the free pattern for this project. (Downloading requires Adobe Acrobat software.)

2. Fold a piece of card stock in half. Make two snips about 1 inch in length and 1 inch apart. 3. Fold up the cut tab and crease it to create a step. 4. Cut out a design you like from a recycled card or kids' art. Paste the design to the rising part of the step. To hide the cuts, glue this card inside another piece of card stock cut to the same size.
