Experience

Christina has been working with patients for over 8 years as a registered dietitian. Her career began in the clinical setting at the University of Minnesota Medical Center where she worked in the intensive care unit, placing feeding tubes and calculating nutrition support regimens. After 4 years in the hospital, she moved to Colorado and began working at a private practice, shifting her focus to wellness-based nutrition.

From the beginning of her career, Christina has maintained her passion for wellness nutrition through writing. Her experience in patient care has helped her to easily translate complicated information into approachable material for a wider audience. With this expertise, she has written over 100 articles for Real Simple, Taste of Home, Vitamix, Dignity Health, Climbing Magazine, Well+Good, Nutrition Business Journal, and more.

Most recently, she has obtained her master's degree in environmental studies, specializing in sustainable food systems. She's excited to combine her passion for environmentalism with nutrition to produce sustainable nutrition content in addition to the health and wellness content she has been producing for many years.

Education

Christina obtained her undergraduate degree in dietetics from Boston University in 2014. She then moved to Minnesota to complete her ACEND-accredited dietetic internship at the Mayo Clinic, finishing in 2015. In the spring of 2022, Christina graduated with her master's degree in environmental studies specializing in sustainable food systems from the University of Colorado Boulder.
