Before all the turkey and stuffing tires you out and persuades you to stay home and shop online, check out these special offers that are only happening in stores on Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday.

Target

This Black Friday powerhouse opens on Thursday at 6 p.m. You can score big with in-store doorbusters, such as a 55-inch LED TV for $249.99, or rack up lots of small wins, such as $2 bath towels. Friday shoppers get an extra incentive: If you spend $75, you'll get 20% off a future Target trip Dec. 4-13. Shop on Saturday with the coupon on the back of Target's Black Friday flyer and get 50% off Holiday Shop purchases of $100 or more.

Walmart

Opening on Thursday at 6 p.m., Walmart offers 1-hour guarantees for some of its hottest electronics, including an Xbox One bundle for $299. This item also comes with a $30 gift card! There are lots of other great finds, including children's pajamas for $4.75 and nine-piece Better Homes & Gardens comforter sets for $34.

Kohl's

Featuring $5 small-appliance doorbusters -- such as toasters, coffee pots, food choppers, blenders, and slow cookers -- Kohl's is the place to be Thursday at 6 p.m. Select toys are 50% off through Friday at 1 p.m., while supplies last. The first 100 customers in the door on Thursday will also win themselves two free movie tickets to see Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Kohl's shoppers will also enjoy receiving $15 in Kohl's Cash for every $50 spent November 23-29, instead of the traditional $10 Kohl's Cash promotions.

Macy's

The cornerstone store of the Thanksgiving holiday is kicking off its Black Friday sales Thursday at 6 p.m. Outfit everyone on your list with great doorbuster deals on apparel. Use rebates to score $7.99 small appliances. The Macy's flyer also has coupons that are good on Thursday and Friday but aren't applicable to doorbuster deals.

Best Buy

For all of your electronics and gaming gifts, head to Best Buy on Thursday at 5 p.m. for the hottest deals. As Black Friday approaches, Best Buy continues to reveal more in-store and online deals, so keep a close watch on bestbuy.com. The store will close at 1 a.m. on Friday and reopen at 8 a.m. with more enticing deals.

Kmart

Get an early start at Kmart. Doors open at 6 a.m. on Thursday. Stock up on $5 board games and select Barbie and superhero action figures. Christmas decor will be 50% off. Thanksgiving Day doorbusters end at 5 p.m. But don't worry -- at 7 p.m. Thursday, new Black Friday doorbusters will be available.

Michaels

Crafters will want to hit Michaels at 4 p.m. on Thursday for deep discounts. Grab the flyer for a coupon for an additional 30% off your entire purchase on Thursday. There are also special offers and coupons for Friday and Saturday shoppers. Online shoppers can start accessing deals at 4 a.m. Eastern time on Thanksgiving morning.

Toys-R-Us

Santa can buy twice as much with the Toys-R-Us doorbuster deals starting Thursday at 5 p.m. Many toys are 40-60% off. There are also $5, $7, and $10 board games. Select movies and video games will be gentle on the pocketbook and make you a big hit on Christmas morning.

Younkers

Be one of the first 200 customers in the door at 5 p.m. Thursday and receive a free Younkers gift card. Cards range in value from $5 to $500. There is guaranteed to be a $500 winner at every store. Winning an extra $500 would sure be a fun way to kick off the holiday shopping season! There are also Black Friday coupons in the flyer that offer additional savings for in-store purchases.

Old Navy

Enjoy 50% off the entire store on Thursday and Friday only. On Saturday, Old Navy shoppers will get 40% off everything, which isn't too shabby either. Sunday and Monday, the deals shift online with 40% off everything on oldnavy.com.

CostCo

Members can enjoy shopping for electronics and other select gifts with instant savings on Friday at 9 a.m. For your more practical holiday needs, stock up on batteries and gift-wrapping tape. Check costco.com for the latest deals and offers.

Sam's Club

Including iPads and laptops, there are great deals on electronics and other gifts at Sam's Club. Deals start Friday at 7 a.m. Some products are also available online Thursday.

Sears

From footwear to refrigerators, many items at Sears will be up to 50% off starting Thursday at 6 p.m. Grab the coupon in the flyer for 30% off a clothing purchase of $50 or more.

Dick's Sporting Goods

For the active people on your list, check out the deals at Dick's Sporting Goods. Get discounts on popular brands of athletic apparel starting Thursday at 6 p.m. and again on Friday at 5 a.m. Shopping on Thanksgiving night or Black Friday will also get you a coupon for $20 off a future purchase.

Radio Shack

Get a jump on Black Friday shopping by starting on Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Radio Shack is kicking things off a day early with hundreds of deals in hopes of reestablishing itself as a go-to brand for electronics.
