The Recipe Mix 1/2 teaspoon lavender oil, 1/4 teaspoon palmarosa oil, and 1/8 teaspoon peppermint oil in a clean spice jar or dropper bottle.
The Method After your makeup is done, put one or two drops of the oil mixture on the most prominent bone at the base of the nape of your neck. "This is the hub of the body's tension patterns," says Hope Gillerman, author of Essential Oils Every Day and founder of H. Gillerman Organics luxury essential oils remedies. These oils will wake you up, cool you off, and leave you feeling refreshed and ready for the day -- and because they are 100 percent essential oils that are clear, they won't stain your clothes, she adds. "It's best to do this once you're done with your makeup, because you don't want to make the mistake of touching near your eyes with peppermint oil on your fingers," she says.
