7 a.m.

My boys (Knox, 2, and Andrew, 7 months) are my alarm clock now. I get up, make breakfast, and hand them off to my husband, Fred, while I hop in the shower.

7:30 a.m.

I'm into color-protecting shampoo and conditioner from Aveda ($21, right now -- it keeps my color looking fresh. Postshower, when my face is still damp, I put on Skinceuticals Physical Fusion SPF 50 ($34;; it has a tint to even out your skin.

7:45 a.m.

I wish I could say I go right to makeup, but by now I'm probably tending to the boys -- getting new toys to keep them entertained or changing a diaper.

7:50 (ish) a.m.

My summer makeup routine: IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer ($24;, Stila Stay All Day Bronzer ($36;, Laura Mercier Lip Glacé ($25,, and brow pencil from IT Cosmetics ($24, I finish with mascara and blush to wake up my eyes and skin.

8 a.m.

Hit my hair with a blow-dryer and maybe a few quick passes with the curling iron.

8:15 a.m.

People think that if you work from home you get to lounge around in sweats all day, but Skype meetings have totally changed that! My everyday look is casual but polished -- I like jeans from DL1961 with a button-up white top, necklaces from Kendra Scott ($21,, and J.Crew sandals ($168,

8:30 a.m.

Kiss my husband good-bye (he is off to work) and get the boys dressed.

9 a.m.

The sitter arrives, and I head to my home office to get to work!
