Previously, Sarah oversaw all holidays and entertaining content for Better Homes & Gardens where she was the go-to source for new craft trends (she's the mastermind behind marbleized Easter eggs) and sharing stories about traditional and emerging holidays.

Sarah has been with the Better Homes & Gardens brand for over 8 years. She started on the food beat before switching to cover holidays and entertaining, and finally back to food where she now leads that vertical for BHG digital. Prior to her time at BHG, Sarah ran a local food blog, Dine Des Moines and contributed as a freelance writer to a number of publications and companies, particularly in the finance and insurance sector. A mom of two girls, Sarah loves to cook, try new restaurants, read, and run in her free time.
