Samantha Benoit

Samantha Benoit (formerly Samantha Driscoll) is the assistant editor at Better Homes & Gardens, where she covers beauty, lifestyle, home decor, and pets. She started working as a journalist in 2013 for HerCampus Media while in college, and she eventually became editor in chief. After that, she worked at Hilltop Views as an editorial intern, social media editor, and news reporter. She gained experience in the academic space while at Arete Academic Journal and as a teaching assistant at her alma mater, St. Edward's University. Before joining Better Homes & Gardens, Samantha served as the advertising sales assistant at Shape magazine. When she's not writing about all things beauty- and home-related, Samantha loves enjoying a glass of red wine, finding the best self-serve froyo, and spending time with her dog, Daisy. Samantha holds a bachelor of arts degree in English writing and rhetoric from St. Edward's University. She also completed the summer institute program at the New York University School of Professional Studies.
