Nicole Hunn

When Nicole Hunn's family had to begin eating gluten-free foods, she felt lost by complicated recipes and overwhelmed by the cost of gluten-free ingredients. She dedicated her energy to finding delicious gluten-free recipes that didn't cost a fortune to make. She started Gluten-Free on a Shoestring to share her recipes and advice with other families who were looking for gluten-free solutions. After 13 years of writing and developing recipes for Gluten-Free on a Shoestring, she's also been the author of five gluten-free cookbooks.

In addition to creating content for her own site, Nicole contributes her gluten-free food knowledge with national magazines and websites such as Better Homes & Gardens, BuzzFeed, The Cook's Cook, Food52, Food Network's Healthy Eats, GFF Magazine, gluten-Free Living,, and many more. She's also made an appearance on the Today Show and other TV news outlets.
