Morgan DeBoest Julson

Morgan DeBoest Julson is a writer, editor, blogger, and social media strategist. With a focus primarily on instructional cooking and baking pieces, she has written for many Dotdash Meredith brands over the last decade and has worked with BHG editors and test kitchen food stylists on producing helpful recipe videos. Morgan is passionate about helping home cooks feel empowered in their own kitchens.
Morgan attended Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. She received a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and mass communication, majoring in magazine journalism. She also minored in English. Morgan was the editor-in-chief of The Annual, a campus magazine, and worked for Drake Magazine as a digital editor, where her team won a Pacemaker award.
