Meredith Ladik Meredith Ladik has worked with Better Homes & Gardens for more than a decade and is a contributing editor of two home decor books by Better Homes & Gardens. She also goes by the professional name of Meredith Drummond as a freelance consultant and design artist for her own brand, Meremade Designs. In addition to editing, Meredith writes content on home decor for several magazines, including Better Homes & Gardens, Gardens, and Fresh Home. She has a background in building design, carpentry, fine arts, and communication. She is the co-editor of Makeovers: Room by Room Solutions; the 10th edition of New Decorating Book; and Country Home Quick Country Decorating. Her work has been featured in Do It Yourself, Midwest Living, and Storage magazines. Meredith studied at Manhattan College, earning a bachelor of arts degree in communications and media studies. She attended the Parsons School of Design: The New School for a certificate program in studio arts covered color theory, painting, and architectural history. Meredith's interests include carpentry, crafting, sewing, painting, and drawing.
