Lucy Fitzgerald

Lucy Fitzgerald is a writer, editor, and content creator in the areas of food, home projects, and true crime with over 15 years' experience. Lucy is a lifelong learner and writer, curious about things ranging from sous-vide to unsolved murders. Her education as an English major with a focus on creative writing led to a course at the Denver Publishing Institute. From there, she relocated to work at Meredith for such titles as Traditional Home, Allrecipes, and other special interest publications. Lucy worked at Meredith for over six years before leaving to start Catnip Creative Content and focus on her true crime podcast.

While her background is primarily food-oriented, Lucy owns a very old house and so has learned many skills in the DIY department. She continues to freelance as a home and garden contributor, as well as an editor for Leading The Way, a Navajo culture and language magazine. The podcast network that she co-founded also offers boundless opportunities for research and content creation.
