She joined the staff of BH&G special interest media as part of the then-robust kitchen and bath magazine portfolio. As an editor, she not only continued to write and edit product and features content, but she produced style, how-to, advice and trend content as well. She also coordinated budget-friendly kitchen and bath makeovers to be featured in the magazines, working with corporate sponsors and DIY homeowners to design hardworking and stylish updates to meet their needs. Kristina was very connected to the home design industry, and attended trade shows, product launches, press junkets and manufacturing tours. When she left BH&G for graduate school, she stayed closely connected with the many people and associations in the industry. After earning her degrees, she accepted a full-time position as a corporate archivist but quickly returned to freelancing for the brand and the home-centric topics she’s always loved. Education Kristina has a BAJ and BA in Magazines and English from Drake University and a Master's degree in Archival Studies; Library and Information Studies from The University of British Columbia.
