Ken Wysocky

With over three decades of writing and editorial experience, Ken Wysocky has written for consumer magazines, reported for newspapers, and crafted communications in the corporate sector. As the managing editor of Country magazine and Birds and Blooms, he was able to publish This Old Barn, a nostalgic journey into the stories behind old barns across the U.S. Currently, he works as a freelance writer and editor for his own brand, Write Words Communications, LLC, where he has written for other lifestyle publications such as Elegant Homes, Backyard Living, and Reminisce. Ken is a contributing home decor writer for Better Homes & Gardens.

Ken Wysocky graduated from the University of Wisconsin OshKosh with a bachelor of arts in journalism. From there he went on to report for several newspapers, including the Daily Herald and The Milwaukee Sentinel. His background in freelance writing and editing reveals a wide-ranging ability to craft his written work for different sectors, including newspapers, consumer publications, and corporate communications.
