Kelsey Ogletree

Kelsey Ogletree has more than 12 years of reporting experience covering wellness, food, travel, and lifestyle topics for national outlets including Real Simple, Travel + Leisure, Better Homes & Gardens, The Wall Street Journal, and more. She previously spent nearly a decade as an on-staff editor for companies including McKinsey & Company, Modern Luxury, and Connect Meetings before starting her own business as an independent journalist in 2017. She's also the founder of Pitchcraft, a membership teaching small business owners and public relations professionals on pitching freelance writers, through interviewing writers and hosting live discussions.
Kelsey earned her bachelor's degree in broadcast communications, with minors in communication and chemistry, from private Carroll College in Helena, Montana. She also holds a master's degree in magazine journalism and is a member of the American Society of Journalists and Authors, the Society of American Travel Writers, and the Public Relations Society of America. Kelsey has been a speaker on media and journalism for numerous events, including for the PRSA, The Southern Coterie Summit, and more.
