Carrie Waller is a stylist, writer, editor, and the founder of Dream Green DIY, a blog she launched in 2011. It started as a passion project and eventually became her full-time job. She publishes home, recipe, DIY, lifestyle, and secondhand decor content.

Before turning her blog into her career, Carrie worked as a freelance writer, contributing to Better Homes & Gardens for four years, covering fashion roundups and home styling trends. She was also the features editor at The Glitter Guide for nearly five years, managing pitches, coordinating photo shoots, and planning editorial direction.

Carrie is launching an ebook guide on home decor. You can find her work on MyDomaine, Apartment Therapy, The Everygirl, HGTV magazine, and more. She sells her homemade pottery at her Etsy shop, DGD Pottery.


Carrie holds a bachelor’s degree of fine arts in art history and studio art from Christopher Newport University.
