Candice Kumai

Candice Kumai is a former model and line chef turned journalist and wellness expert. She has written recipes and articles for magazines such as Better Homes & Gardens, Vogue, Bon Appétit, Shape, and The Yoga Journal and has been featured in Elle and Forbes. Using her Japanese heritage as a window through which she looks at wellness, Candice's recipes often feature an allusion to Japanese food through her ingredients, as seen in her "clean miso soup" or "matcha rice krispies." She has authored five different cookbooks, including her most recent release, Kintsugi Wellness: The Japanese Art of Nourishing Body, Mind and Spirit.
