Experience Camille Simmons has loved home decor and entertaining since she was a child. She took pride in baking desserts for friends and family on their birthdays and special occasions. As a newlywed, she began entertaining friends with beautiful soirees in her high rise Oakland apartment with delicious cocktails and canapés. She began developing recipes and styling tablescapes for decor brands and magazines while also honing her interior decorating skills. She is a self-taught designer, photographer, and stylist. Camille began learning design software as a teen and regularly practiced creating floor plans and renderings of her dream homes and architecture. Camille loves to sketch decor vignettes as well.In 2016, Camille opened a decor boutique in Long Beach, CA using her blog name, Planning Pretty. During her time as a shop owner she also learned floral design and created beautiful tablescapes for weddings and events. Since then, she has migrated to online retail and offers design services to clients all over the country. Education Camille attended Harvard College where she studied social/development psychology, film studies, and Italian language.
