Angelo Sosa

Chef Angelo Sosa has over a decade of experience working as a chef. Dominican and Italian by heritage, Angelo first worked at restaurants in Connecticut before working at Jean-Georges in New York. He later opened an Asian sandwich shop, Xie Xie. As a chef, Angelo is known for his international palate. He appeared on Top Chef on Bravo TV and his work highlighted his skill at creating all kinds of international dishes. Now, he is tapping into Arizona's regional culinary heritage with the opening of Tía Carmen, including a mole recipe given to him by an Oaxacan chef on the menu. He is the author of three different cookbooks: Healthy Latin Eating, Flavor Exposed, and Flavour First and Foremost. Angelo graduated from The Culinary Institute of America, located in New York City.
