During her internship, Alicia covered a variety of lifestyle subjects relevant to college students such as interior dorm decorating, best college town eateries, student loan management, and more. While working for Uloop, Alicia continued to grow as a writer and started freelancing for lifestyle blogs, Top5Must and KnowPhilly, in 2019. For the next two years, Alicia built her name as a content writer, and was eventually offered a position as a contributing writer for both POPSUGAR and Nicki Swift in 2021. Alicia started her college career at Pace University in Lower Manhattan, where she studied Film and Screen Studies. After one year in the New York, Alicia returned to her home state of Pennsylvania and attended Temple University in Philadelphia to study politics. For three years, Alicia worked towards her Political Science degree while also strengthening her writing and communications skills via intensive courses and her internship with Uloop, an online college newsfeed. She graduated cum laude from the university in 2018, with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
