Brittany and Chris decided that the Pinnacle Peak Patio was the perfect place for their laid-back Western-themed celebration.

Greeting Friends

More than 100 out-of-town guests arrived a few days before the wedding to attend the various events and activities leading up to the big day. The bride described the rehearsal dinner as a fun "mini-wedding."

Editor's Tip: If you're having a wedding with tons of out-of-town guests, consider planning a few events for them, such as the rehearsal dinner. It turns the wedding into a fun weekend for all.

Photo Game

Their parents created an entertaining game in which guests guessed the happy couple's location in various photos. Brittany said it was a fun activity to get newly-acquainted people talking.

Traditions and Memories

Brittany's grandfather visited Pinnacle Peak Patio 50 years ago and participated in their tradition of cutting off his tie and hanging it from the ceiling beams. Everyone loved helping him look for it!

Cheerful Centerpieces

The groom's parents created these festive centerpieces. Vintage glass jars became vases for sunflowers and mini-galvanized buckets held sunflower seeds and candy. Western touches, such as bandanna-print fabric, rope, and raffia, complete the look.

Fun Entertainment and Food

A country duo entertained guests, who also participated in line-dancing and were treated to steak off the grill.

Yummy Dessert

The couple chose carrot cake for dessert because they wanted something casual. Plus, it is one of the bride's favorites.

Fun Theme

Brittany loved to see her groom excited about the Western theme; he even bought a cowboy-style belt buckle. He wasn't the only one who dressed up; many guests (including grandparents!) wore boots or cowboy hats.
