DIY Card Holders That Are Way Better Than Bought
Learn how to make your own cheap card holders to tuck into flower arrangements and centerpieces. Four supplies are all you need.
Here's how to make your own note cardholders to use in flower arrangements and centerpieces. Here's what you'll need: Wire snips, 18 or 20-gauge wire, a wooden spoon, and needle-nose pliers. First, cut about an 18-inch piece of wire. Then roll one end of the wire around the handle of a wooden spoon 2 or 3 times. Take the wire off the spoon handle and use needle-nose pliers to bend the cut edge of the wire into the circle. Stretch and straighten the wire, then just tuck a note card between the loops. Now poke it into the arrangement. These note cardholders are quick and easy and they're way better looking than the clear plastic ones.
