Cheap Candle Craft
Discover the secret household ingredient you can use to turn pillar candles into display-ready centerpieces.
Hi. I'm Eddie Ross East Coast editor for Better Homes and Gardens and today, I'm gonna show you how to get an easy frosted look on pillar candles using kosher salt. What you'll need to get started, kosher salt, pillar candles, spray adhesive and a large dish. First, spray the candle with adhesive on all sides. Set up a cardboard box to shield your workspace from any overspray. Then roll the candle in the dish of kosher salt, turning and pressing it into the salt to coat evenly. Arrange several candles on the platter that's been lined with rock salt for an easy, sparkly holiday centerpiece.
