BHG Stylemaker Blogger Event 2013
BHG Editors and home, food and design-focused bloggers came together to celebrate the magazine's September Stylemaker issue and to share insights in an intimate series of workshops. The evening concluded with a party and panel discussion moderated by Maxwell Ryan of apartmenttherapy.com and featuring stylist and cookbook author Annette Joseph, clothing designer Kayce Hughes and the magazine's own Eddie Ross.
-Every issue of Better Homes and Gardens really has style at its core, the style maker issue, is their annual [unk] people who are influencing style in our culture. -Being a style maker in Better Homes and Gardens was really a great honor. It was a thrill. -We had 50 amazing bloggers join us today for a workshop. It was an all day event. -It's awesome to be in a group of people that are excited about inspiring other people. -Getting to kind of mix and share ideas with all of them was amazing. -We think it's so important to be part of that social world where content is created, seen and shared. -It's just pretty rare to get to have that kind of conversation on that intimate level with just a handful of women. It was really special. -Joining us on the panel tonight for the style maker event. We had our very own Eddie Ross. -The easiest way to update the look of your home is always paint, pillows and a carpet. -We have fashion designer, Kayce Hughes. -Most stylish people are people who are wearing something that speaks to them, that they're personally excited about. -And then we have Annette Joseph who was our entertaining style maker. -It's very important for creative people to look at something completely different and eat different types of foods. I get very inspired by that. -We also will have Maxwell Ryan from Apartment Therapy. He will be moderating the whole event. -This section of the crowd is very noisy. -So it'll be a great mix of personalities and also just tons of inspiration for all of us in around.
