How to Paint Dishes with Glass Paint
Use glass paint to jazz up plain dishes.
Glass paint and a pretty pattern transform basic dishes into decorating standouts. Draw or print a pattern onto paper and cut away extra paper so the pattern fits easily on the plate. To transfer the pattern, flip the paper over and shade the back with a graphite pencil then replace the paper pattern side up. Tape to secure and trace with a pencil. To paint, use a stylus and glass paint. Apply dots along the lines. When dry, wipe away the pencil lines and bake the plate according to the paint manufacturer's instructions. Painted plates are for decorative use only so use them to grace your table as an accessory.
