First, we've measured one cup of lentils. Spread the lentis out on parchment paper and remove any tiny debris. Next, pour your lentils into a sieve and rinse them. Meanwhile, bring three cups of water to boil and toss in your lentils. Reduce to a simmer and cover. Lentils take around 20 to 30 minutes. Cook until tender. Dinner is on. Lentis work great as a side dish or as a round out to salads, soups or mashed into vegetarian burger patties. Lentils are addictive. You've been warned.
