All-Bran Banana Nut Bread
Moist, tender, banana nut bread, perfect with coffee or tea.
Who doesn't love a slice of warm banana bread? Kellogg's All-Bran Banana Nut Bread has all the sweet taste you adore plus some fiber. It's a delectable snack any time of day. Start by pre-heating your oven to 350 degrees. Now, stir together one and a half cups of all-purpose flour, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, half a teaspoon of baking soda and half of teaspoon of salt. Stir together and then just set that bowl aside. Now in another mixing bowl, you're gonna beat together a quarter cup of vegetable oil, half a cup of sugar, and one egg. Whisk that together well. Now stir in one and a half of mashed ripe bananas that should be about two bananas. And add one cup of Kellogg's All-Bran original cereal and one teaspoon of vanilla and half a cup of chopped nuts. Now stir this until it's combined then add the dry ingredient a little bit a time. Once your batter looks like this, it's ready to go in the pan. So we've already greased to 9x5x3 inch loaf pan with cooking spray and apply the bottom with wax paper. Just pour in the batter and then smooth it out in the loaf pan and then bake this in the oven for about an hour. When you take this out of the oven you can check for doneness by inserting a wooden pick or toothpick near the center and see if it comes out clean. We're done. Let the banana bread cool in the pan for about 10-minutes and then remove it from a pan and let it cool straight on the cooling rack. There is nothing like a warm satisfying slice of banana bread to add a little bit of sweetness to your day.
