Elmer's CraftBond Adhesive
Elmer’s® new line of CraftBond™ adhesive products are acid-free and great for all your scrapbooking and crafting projects.
-You put a lot time and effort into your projects, so make the right choice to make sure they last. Hi! I'm Beth. And when you're paper crafting, there's usually some sort of adhesive involved and it's important to choose the right product for your project. Elmer's has a whole range of adhesive products that are great for any type of craft. Elmer's CraftBond Permanent Taper Runner is a great basic to have on hand. The most important thing about this tape is that it's archival safe, which means it's acid free, so when you're scrapbooking or making cards or other crafts, you don't have to worry about the adhesive deteriorating the product over time. It's a great size, very portable, and convenient; and it has an easy change refillable cartridge. This works well with photos when you're scrapbooking and for your larger paper components on the page. Another really useful adhesive to have on hand are these CraftBond Glue Spots. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes, and they're just perfect for working with some of the smaller scrapbooking elements. And just like the tape, these Glue Spots are archival safe, which means they're acid free. Again, they won't harm your paper or your photos. A great tip for using these is don't try to peel them off the backer packer. Bring your element to the dot. Put it on the dot and then peel it off the backer paper. Elmer's is of course synonymous with glue, but this isn't the glue you used in grade school. They have come up with a product that is especially designed for crafters. Its' the CraftBond Wet and Dry Glue Pen. This is really cool. It's got a dual tip. The narrow point gives you really fine control when you're working with tiny elements and you need a lot of precision or you can use the wide spreader tip when you want to get more coverage at once. In addition to the way you can dispense the glue, you can also get two different results from the glue. If you attach elements immediately while the glue is wet, you get a permanent bond, but if you wait until the glue dries clear, you can reposition elements, so it's really two products in one. This is great for fabric, paper, ribbon, just a really useful tool to keep in your crafting supplies. So, don't limit yourself to just one adhesive product, keep a whole range on hand to make the most of all of your projects.
