-This looks great. I couldn't think-- -Wow. Looks like you're ready for Rachel. -We are. -I'll go, while you see some great things you can do digitally. -It's fun to work with professional photos and these photos had such great color. With permission, we scanned them in and sampled the colors. Let me show you how easy it is. So let me show you what I did. Brought in the photo. I'm using the eyedropper tool, sampled the pink sweater and you can see our foreground color changed to the color of the pink sweater. You go through different areas of the photo to get a lighter or a darker color, and get a color that we like there, and then select a brush. With our brush tool, I've loaded some brushes I downloaded from the internet, a nice botanical print to add some interest and I'm gonna put a new layer above my background paper so it's behind the photo and there you can see the brush and then just stamp it a couple of times just like I would if it were a rubber stamp. And that kind of frames the corner of your page and draws your eye into the photo. Now, the pink is just not enough so I'm gonna add a little bit of the brown that I see in the leopard pattern and create a new layer and, again, I'm gonna take my eyedropper tool, sample on the leopard skin. I want the light brown color that I see here, not the dark so I'm gonna keep sampling until I get the color I want. There it is. And I'll take my brush again with that same brush loaded, and just add a few more touches. There we go. I want the brown to be underneath the red so I'm just going to move my layer below and there. Now, to make that photo really pop off the page, I'm gonna add a white frame to it, so with my photo layer selected, I'm gonna create a new layer, with a rectangular marquee tool, going just slightly larger than the photo size, click and drag, so I framed it with a nice, even frame all the way around and then go to Edit and fill your selection. I wanna fill it with my background color which is white so I get a traditional white border around my photo and, obviously, I don't want it over my photo so I'm gonna drag it underneath and there you have it. And here's my finished page, all done with the color sample from the photo brushed on to the background, matted photos, and if you don't have permission from your photographer, you can always create the page using a white matte and take your photo and adhere it after the fact. Simple as that. -Hi, Rachel. -Hi. -Are you excited to see what we've got in store for you? -I can't wait. -Come on with me to the back. -So we know you have so many portraits-- -Yes-- -I mean, we all have portraits and so we wanted to put together a beautiful album for you and the first thing we did was put together this shadowbox and it's something that hopefully matches the dcor of your home-- -It's perfect-- -And has the-- some of the wallets, we used some of the extra wallets and just-- -Beautiful. -And let's show you that album that we made. -We put this first in the album just because it's all the kids and the family including the cousins, so, Melissa, do you recognize yourself in this picture? -Let's see the next page. Look, this is-- -I wanted it to have a real feminine feel so I machine stitched a flower and then added some flowers inside the flower. -And there's the boys. -I did that one also and I wanted it to kind of match the girls' page but have a more masculine feel. -Uh huh, perfect. -There's you. -Look at that-- -I have another one of Baby Kaitlin. -She's so cute. -Oh, I love it. -I love every bit of you. -Okay-- -And you can flip open. -That's so great. -That's-- -Very-- -Yet-- -See-- -Come on. -Oh, how cute. -Oh, and there's one more. -There's one more. -Uh oh. -Oh. -Grownup Kaitlin. -Oh, is that adorable. -She'll love it. -And there's the beautiful-- -It's Baby Kaitlin. -Hi, Kaitlin. Is that you? Is that you? -It's you. -Ba-ba. -Baby. -Baby. -That's right. -I'm going to let you in on a little production secret. The producers had a hard time deciding what to name the show. They really wanted something that would capture our mission to elevate and celebrate the people who love and live to scrapbook. I suggested the Tony Show, but they chose to go with Scrapbook Lifestyle. See you Monday for the wildest designer challenge yet.
