Family Photo Frame
Displaying family photos can get routine -- frame, mat, voila. Here's a creative way to "frame" snapshots that's anything but boring.
I always have tons of family photos around the house and I'm always looking for new ways to display them. This is the fast and easy idea that's always easy to change. Start out with a picture frame. I love large ones and you could use lots of images on, but you can even do this project on a smaller frame. So, here's one that matches your decorating style. It can be something that's older and more antique or this one actually is from a tag sale and it has some chips paint on it, so it matches the shabby chic sort of look. Take any ribbon that you like and cut it to fit from end to end on the picture frame, then use some tape to hold it in place. Then use the staple gun to secure the ribbons in place. You're gonna punch right through the painter's tape. Don't worry about that at all. Let's secure one more place up here. Pour it nice and hot. So that the photos hang straight, then you just peel the painter's tape right off and your staples stay in place. There, that's the finished book. Now, you can add your photo. I want to use binder clips because they come in so many great colors and so many sizes right now. It's really fast way to pack photos into place. I love the photo of my daughter and her little pre-school buddies from her birthday party last year, also a great way to incorporate little pieces of art that always come home in the backpack and another photo. Here, you can glue these around. Try different sizes. This could be a great way to display post cards or even change off the ribbon and use the display holiday card. It's perfect picture.
