Separating and Peeling Garlic Cloves
Tired of fussing around trying to get the papery skin off of a garlic clove? See how to easily remove a single clove of garlic from the whole head -- and then peel it with this quick kitchen trick.
To remove a clove from a head of garlic, loosen with a paring knife and twist apart. To remove the skin with flat side of the clove down, place the broad side of the knife over the clove and apply pressure. Remove skin. The remnant stem end does not need to be cut off the clove before using.
