and Seeding a Melon

Peeling and Seeding a Melon

This simple method of peeling and seeding a cantaloupe works for most other melons, too.

To peel and seed a melon, take a large knife and slice it in half. Scoop out the seeds. Turn it upside down on a flat surface so that it's stable. Cut off the rind from the top towards the cutting board in long strips using the green part of the melon as a guide. Once peeled, cut the melon into any shape you want, slices or chunks.
