Orange Biscuit Ring
Sweet pull-apart biscuits, warm from the oven, are hard to resist. It's a great way to start the day with your holiday guests, and you never have to let on how easy they were to make!
Orange, sweet-glazed bread is always a special treat during the holiday season, and I have something that is very impressive. It's an orange biscuit ring, and it is so simple! Hi, I'm Sandra Lee, and I've got a fabulous recipe for you. Now, we all buy these wonderful pre-made biscuits in the grocery store, but I bet you've never thought about this idea before. I just am gonna open these up and put them onto my counter. You're gonna need 2 packages of these biscuits for this recipe. To some orange juice, I just wanna add some melted butter and give that a nice stir. And then, to some sugar, I wanna add some grated orange peel. And come in here and work your orange peel through your sugar. This just adds a wonderful flavor to your sugar, which is gonna be your coating on these biscuits. Now, take your biscuits one at a time, and you're gonna put those into your orange juice butter mixture, and then into your sugar and orange rind. Then this goes into a Bundt pan, just like this, and we need just one more to finish this off. Now, this will just bake off into the oven for 35 to 40 minutes, and you're gonna have a wonderful and sweet-glazed biscuit ring on your table in no time that all your guests will love. And from everyone here at bhg.com, we wish you a very happy and healthy holiday season.
