-Hardware is like jewelry for cabinets, and a little bling in the kitchen is a good thing. Hello, I'm Linda Eggerss, Editor of Kitchen and Bath Ideas Magazine, and I'm here at The Annual Kitchen & Bath Industry Show. If you're looking to make a small change with big impact, try adding hardware to your cabinets. I'm gonna tell you some of my favorite picks. -Buckle accessories recently seen in the fashion industry inspired the Buckle Up Collection from Atlas. The line consists of towel bars, tissue holders, and hooks in a contemporary design that expresses both modernity and timeless character. -We're actually featuring our new Rochdale Collection, and this is part of the industrial chic trends. So, it's an evolution of a retro trend. It's featured in our new graphite finish, and the graphite finish is a first in the cabinet hardware industry. It's very, very comfortable with some of the silvers and nickels that are out there in the market today. -The classic style of the Brunswick Robe Hook from Baldwin looks great in a traditional- or cottage-style bath. It is available in more than 20 finishes. The Artisan Collection of knobs and pulls from Hfele has an ornate decorative style with lots of fleur and bead designs. They are available in 4 finishes. Reminiscent of the silhouette of a perfume bottle, the Illume Collection Tissue Holder from Jado has a subtly shifting shape: a gentle flair from round to square. The new Basil Collection from Liberty Hardware features an innovate swivel towel ring. The other hardware accessories in this line continue a traditional look for the bath. This is a transitional collection of new and existing knob and lever designs. All designs in the Traditions Line from Omnia are available in 7 finishes. The Edwardian Collection from Top Knobs features ribbing and a cross-pattern on traditional handles and knobs. This collection would fit well in an old world or traditional-style kitchen. -Remember: Small change, big impact. And that's my hot list pick for cabinetry hardware.
