If you're a wine enthusiast, you're sure to find a product that will store or cool wine from our 2009 Kitchen and Bath Industry Show picks.
-Hello. I'm Linda Edwards, editor of Kitchen and Bath Ideas Magazine and I'm here at the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show. Today, we're looking at wine systems. They come in almost any configuration and a beautiful model like this for instance which has easy glide drawers and dual zones, so your red and white wine can stay at the right temperature. The really neat thing about all of the wine systems that are available is that they tip under any countertop like this. In fact, wouldn't this look beautiful in your kitchen? -Haier offers a variety of free-standing and built-in wine coolers. One of my favorites has a display shelf in front so you can easily see what's stored right on that shelf. U-Line's Wine Captain can hold either 24 or 48 bottles and can either store a single type of wine or using unique triple temperature zone to keep 3 different types of wine at their optimum serving temperatures. The models come in either a stainless steel finish or black. -This is the Electrolux Wine Tower. It'll hold a 160 bottles of wine. It has perfect set temperature controls to do 45 to 65 degrees for red or white wine, luxury glide, wooden racks that smoothly fold in and out, a nice optional display shelf for your high-end bottles of wine as well as a wooden accessory box that can be used as a Humidrawer or an accessory drawer. -This 50-bottle wine cooler from Jenn-Air has dual zones to keep your red wines and white wines stored at optimum temperatures. The wooden shelves come unfinished so that you can stain them to match your cabinetry. These are a great fit in a beverage station like this or as a single unit installed below a countertop. -This is the [unk] Wine Steward Storage System. A neat thing about it is that it fits right under the countertop no matter what height it is. You can put this in your kitchen or in your ref room, the movie room, wherever you think is appropriate. Another neat thing about it is that it has UV coating. So, your wine ages at the appropriate stages, and it has 2 separate compartments---- One where you store your red wine and one where you store your white one, and those would be at the right temperatures. -And what we have here today is a wine cabinet over a dual drawer beverage center which gives you the ability to use---- To have your wine at the top, your beverages on the bottom. Now, this specific product is developed as a single temperature zone wine cabinet where most the industry is dual to triple zone. It really plays in with the serious wine connoisseur who doesn't want temperature fluctuation in their wine. This set up where you have beverages below for sodas, etc., and water is great for a home theater setting, even a kitchen or a bar area. -No matter what size or configuration, there's a wine storage system to fit in your kitchen.
