" Welcome back to Better everybody! It is time to think outside the box for the holidays, and we're not talking about gifts here, we're talking about bringing those standard boring greeting cards to life. Paige Davis is the craft and project expert for Kodak, and she is back on our show helping us creat some fun and actually memorable cards. Not just the ones people see and they eventually throw away."
" Yeah! Yeah! Not just the ones in the box."
" In a way."
" You know, you can----Those are great if you got mass to do, but you can make things a lot more personal, and you know, and you can also if you want go really really big."
" Really big."
" Really big! Like not even a car!"
" So, we start off with the big one?"
" Yes. The big----This is so awesome. It's a digital frame. Kodak has the best one. It's the W1020. Quick touch border. It's really easy to use, which I think its greatest selling point."
" Right. Easy."
" Incredible quality but very very easy, and just imagine if you'd already uploaded holiday photos with whole family, happy holidays and you mail it to grandma and grandpa."
" I love that idea. That's what we'll see."
" Can you imagine like grandma opening that up and turning it on----"
" Right."
" and seeing it. Now, that's a card."
" That's true."
" Right and then----"
" Right there."
" And then, they have that forever. Obviously, it's a present, and you can upload pictures wirelessly through the year, so it's an ongoing present."
" A gift that keeps on giving, right?"
" The gift that keeps on giving, so this is pretty spectacular."
" I love this idea here."
" This is great. Now, if you do have mass, you know, 'cause a lot of times you buy like 100 cards, right?"
" Yeah. Yeah."
" For the holidays."
" Don't just do that or don't just send the typical picture like in your sweaters like, "Happy Holidays!" You can take that photo and photoshop it."
" Okay"
" It's like put the family in a Christmas stocking."
" That's so cute."
" Hilarious right? And you go to Kodak gallery, and you can choose like hundreds of exclusive really affordable designs."
" Okay."
" Really cool stuff and make a personalized card, which people do all the time, but this one's cuter and funnier."
" It's different."
" Right?"
" I like that."
" And then, very quickly here to a lot of people will send you the e-mail newsletters about the updates on the family and the pages and word with those."
" How many people read those, right?"
" But this one is huge. It actually shows you, you know, different pictures."
" Yeah. If you gonna mail out your newsletter, include photos."
" Yeah. Yeah. Why not?"
" Do you know what I mean? It's like it makes it a lot better. It's more colorful. It's more fun."
" Uh hum."
" People might actually read the information that it comes with."
" Right."
" It's a little too big."
" With a picture. It's like the little kid. Are there pictures in the book?"
" Right?"
" Now, we're gonna make something here too."
" Yes! Now!"
" So, these cards here."
" You can also make greeting cards, and I think that's kind of gone out of style now."
" Yeah."
" Everybody is doing everything so fast. Everybody's got immediate gratification, but instead of doing the mass cards you buy in the box, you can make personalized cards especially if maybe there's like your top 10 people."
" Right."
" And it's a great thing to do with kids. I mean, it's the winter. They can't play outside."
" And it's just different-colored types of paper."
" Different-colored paper. You can use wrapping paper like these are scraps of old wrapping paper."
" Uh hum"
" You know, in this instance, we've got all these different kind of cool paper."
" Right."
" You know, front and back, so you have the inside is different than the card."
" And these are so simple to make too."
" So simple! This is cut out paper."
" You know, glue stick."
" Glue stick."
" Yeah!"
" You know."
" Glue down the snow flake."
" you know, whatever it is."
" Use it for anything."
" You can use it for anything. I think that's great."
" Alright, thank you so much Paige. It's always good to have you here on the show."
" Thank you. So great to----"
