" To wrap up a special occasion, try this. Who wouldn't love gettin' a gift that looks like this? And the bow is actually very simple to make. I just found some of this beautiful wide satin ribbon at the bargain bin of all things of my craft store, and I'm gonna turn this into a great big fluffy bow. Alright, now to start, all your gonna do in form a circle over your hand, and I'm gonna drape this down roughly 4 or 5 inches from my finished bow. And then, all you gonna do is to start looping it around your hand. Like this. And when you're looping, I like to do an odd number of loops. It just makes your bow more interesting and then not so symmetrical. So now, what you gonna do is actually flatten this out, and I've got another little tip for you. What I like to do, since I don't have that many hands to keep my ribbons in place, is I like to use a paper clip. And then, I just fasten it on the edge of your ribbons. Like this. And then, I have some free hands. Alright, so what we are gonna do is we're just gonna create some notches on the corners of my flattened ribbon. So what you'll do is just cut a notch diagonally. Right there. Come over on the other side and create another diagonal cut. And then, you'll come over to the other side and do a diagonal cut on this end to form my notch. Alright, now you're gonna make you're final diagonal right there. Alright. Now, what you'll do is you'll take off you're paper clip, and then you're gonna match your notches on your ribbon. Like this. Then, you're gonna take your paper clip again to keep things tidy and go ahead and paper clip the layers of ribbon in to place like that. Alright. Now, you're gonna take your thin wire and just wrap it around the notches. Like this. And then, you'll just twist it firmly into place. Keep your notches centered, like this, and then just go ahead and snip off any remaining wire. Now, you can take off your paper clip. And then, what you're going to do is you're just gonna pull out the innermost ribbon looped here and just pull it out and give it a little twist to the right. And then, you're gonna need to come from the opposite angle, and pull out the innermost ribbon, and give it a tug to your left. And then, you just keep revealing you're layers of ribbon. Now, you'll see that this ribbon is side-specific. It has a design on 1 side so when you're pulling and tugging, keep that in mind, and make sure you're always twisting it, so you can see the pretty pattern. So then, you wanna come to the other side and just do the same thing. Revealing the innermost layer. Giving it a little tug and a twist, and coming from the opposite side, and twisting it to place, and just kinda work with it until you have the look you like. That looks pretty good. Alright. Now, for my giftwrapping paper, I have actually used some leftover wallpaper that I had, that it's just beautiful textured wallpaper that I wrapped this 2 presents with and just stacked them on top. And then, I also found another nice wide ribbon and stripes that went with my polka dots and tied it all together. I think this really looks fun and festive. Now, I've got a tower of gifts that had a real presence to the party."
