" To make an elegant gift topper, try this! This simple yet modern-looking bow is so easy to make and just takes a couple of quick steps. The key is to select a ribbon that comes in different colors, textures, and widths to create your bow. So, what you first wanna do is take your widest ribbon and you wanna cut that to be twice the length of what you want your finished bow to be. Then, you're just gonna take your hot glue gun, put a little dab at the end [time=0::30] of your ribbon, like this. And then you're just gonna create a loop and close the circle off, like this. Just hold for a little bit, there! Alright, now, you want to flip it over, so have the seam down and put on a little hot glue. Squirt right there, and then you're gonna flatten your ribbon. Oops, just like that. So, you've got a flattened circle. Alright! Now, you wanna take the same ribbon and you're just gonna loop it and go the opposite direction. You're just gonna close off the seam, like this, just overlapping it. Again, with your hot glue and form your circle. Now, what you wanna do is take a different color ribbon and one that's a little bit skinnier than the one you just placed on top here, and you're just gonna go over that ribbon. And do the same thing with your hot glue forming a circle. Now, if you have guys on your list for gifts, I like to use the style of bow because this is more elegant and less frilly. Okay. You could stop here, but what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna add an extra layer, and I've selected this pretty teal ribbon, and I think it will really pull out the teal that's on my giftwrap. And so, I'm just gonna do yet another layer right on top of the ribbon we just glued. There. And now, you're done! Doesn't that look great? Now, also you can just place this right on to your giftwrapped package or you can do yet another layer and what I've done is I've taken this nice brown ribbon and made a little V-notch on each side and then you can just place the ribbon on top of that for an even more layered look. With a gift this pretty, you may not wanna give it away."
