It's a Wrap!

" For a clever way to display photos, try this! You know, there's nothing silly about this string project that lets you change up your photos whenever you want. It may look like a lot of work, but hey, if you can wrap string, you can make this project! Now, you start by covering the frame insert with a textural piece of cloth, and I'm using some burlap. You could also use linen or whatever you would like. And what you're gonna do is you're going to put a line of hot glue along one edge here, just like this. And then you'll just simply fold over your fabric and press down. Alright. Now, you wanna go to the opposite edge and then pull it really tight. This is very key. You need to make sure you've got it really tight. Hold that down and then take your glue gun again, and you're just gonna do another line at the top. And then, you'll go to your sides and do the same thing. Now, you'll need to put some glue right up here on the burlap because you'll need that when you create a simple box fold on the corner. And it is good to have about an inch of overlap because the burlap will tend to unravel and so you wanna make sure you have enough fabric. Now, I've started this one over here, and I anchored it down with a little dab of glue to get it started on the end of the string. And then, all you're going to do is wrap! You're gonna wanna pull it kind of tight, stay in place, and you'll watch some of the spacing just to make sure that you're being consistent. Or you know, actually, if you want, you could just do a random effect too and that can be kinda cool! So, once you get to the end, no need to get the hot glue gun out again before you cut, get that secured like that. Cut your string! Then you're just gonna pop the whole thing right into your frame, like this. Now, you're ready to slip your photos into the string and you're a wrap star!"
