" Cookie dough is great to have in your freezer, because you're always ready to make a homemade treat quickly and in the amount you desire. Start by finding a firm round container that you can put in your freezer. This will be your guide for handling the dough. To create a manageable size, divide the dough as needed. Roll the dough into a log shape. Wrap the log in [time=0:00:30 wax or parchment paper. Any slice-and-bake or drop cookie dough freezes very well. Place the log into your container before freezing. This will help prevent one side of the log from flattening as it freezes. When you're ready to bake, remove the frozen log. Unwrap from the paper and cut the dough according to the recipe."
