A wire trellis is a great way to cover a wall with the climbing vine while keeping it from becoming invasive to your home. Start by marking grit on the wall in chalk. You want the height and width to be divisible by 10, so that you'll end up with a grid pattern where each square is 10 inches by 10 inches. This gives the plant room to move and grow without becoming crowded. Use a drill to bore pilot holes for screw-eye spaces, every 10 inches to form a large square on the wall . Screw all the eyes into place. Then, use a number 18 galvanized wire from your local garden center to wire the trellis.
