added a bunch more different patterned papers, and then it gives the layout a lot of dimension. I think it's a great depth for the layout . And then on this layouts ---- this only has a couple of different ones, it's got the base cardstock, and then another layer of cardstock that has this
paper and my photos. Sometimes when I'm working one, I want the layout to feel a little bit more heavy, have a little bit more depth to it. So, I'll use a lot
lot of layers to it, and a lot of depth. On this layout , I did a lot of embellishment layering. Down here I just used a chipboard circle, some cardstock, some rhinestones, more chipboard and
a little bit more embellishment layering off to the side. On this layout , I did some
dots underneath to give it a little bit more depth. On this layout it's mainly just all about layering patterned papers, there's probably about 5 different pattern papers on this. I started with the base
collaged look and feel and it opens up more space on the layout to be able to use a lot of your embellishments. So, over here I've used a larger photo, and then I've just
like it. And I'm sure that you'll come out with a great layout .

the background and then you can let that dry. To put our layout together and, as you can see, all the layouts I've done here are very simple. You can adjust them anyway you want. We're going to take a piece of white card
what I like to tell people right off the bat is your layout does not have to look exactly like mine. You can change it whatever way you want. You can change the colors, the topic. I just want you to create a layout that you're gonna use in your scrapbook. I also wanted to let you know that you don't have to use the same
have all of our images stamped, we are going to create this layout and what I did was I just used a circle cutter to cut out a bunch of different sized circles that basically
can use whatever colors and whatever materials you want to do your layout .
Moving on to the next layout and this one, we are going to spray on some watercolors. Just kind of spatter them and it creates a neat looking
of paint to create this six-colored background that we have on the layout here. You're gonna need to give those pieces of card stock a little bit of time to dry and they may warp
Now, we are ready to put together our layout and you can see that I have just taken these colored rectangles and I've placed them on the center of the scalloped
blocks of color if you like, just like I've done on my layout . Last thing we're gonna do is we're just gonna mat that whole thing on to another piece of black 12 X 12 card stock and that's it. very, very simple. Moving on to the next layout , we are going to try a couple different techniques on this layout
create different kind of unique background. It'd be great for a pool layout or any kind of, you know, water play kind of thing 'cause it does look exactly like water drips and the other
acrylic paint, so, you know, improvise with what you have. For this layout , we're gonna start with our embellishment that we're creating for the page and I've just taken some white card stock and I'm
This next layout that we're going to do has, once again, a couple different techniques on it. One is a stamped watercolor resist so we're
you can try it if you like. To get started with this layout , we're gonna take the stamp that we have on our background and I've used a few different stamps here but you could
a paintbrush. Okay, now, everything's dry and we're ready to assemble our layout . I take the orange painted card stock and I kind of cut it into a quarter circle to make my sun
or you could hand stitching if you want. Attach this to my layout with some foam adhesive or pop dots. That just kinda gives it a little bit of dimension and pretty much basically I've
that were gonna do. Similar technique that we did in the last layout . This one, instead of having a stamped resist image,
when you're trying to think of what to do on your next layout , and thanks so much for joining me. Buh-bye.
