White Flower Farm Potato Bags and Red Norland Tubers
Grow a great crop of Potatoes anywhere in soft-sided, porous-fabric bags! The dark material quickly warms up in spring and then sheds heat when the season grows hot, promoting vigorous, healthy roots. Plant and care for your tubers just as ...you would in the ground, but with easier access for harvesting. Bags can be reused for years and fold flat for efficient storage. We include two bags, 18in wide, 14 1/2in tall, holding 15gal of potting mix each, plus 10 minitubers of 'Red Norland' Potatoes. Typical yields are 6-10lb per 10 minitubers. Potting mix not included. This variety was bred at North Dakota State University especially for northern climates. 'Red Norland' is the classic heirloom red Potato, grown for its large size and thin skin, combined with _great flavor and good storage. May be harvested at 60 days for baby red "creamers" or at 80 days for full-size boiling or baking Potatoes. For information on growing Potatoes, click "Growing Guide".
