West Elm is a subsidiary of Williams-Sonoma that was launched in 2002 by company founder Charles E. Williams. West Elm supplies affordable furniture, bedding, and other indoor and outdoor home products. Other home furnishings include slipcovers, rugs, bedding, duvets, lamps, curtains, lighting, mirrors, frames, pillows, and linens.

West Elm's dining room products consist of dinnerware, glassware, flatware, table linens, pots and pans, cutlery, and other kitchen tools. West Elm also offers Greenpan brand cookware, which is made from organic and recycled materials. The cookware has a mineral-base coating, which keeps food from sticking and is dishwasher-safe.

West Elm also carries furniture, rugs, window panels, pillows, and other home accessories made from sustainable materials. Rugs are made from jute, wool, cotton, or chenille and available in a variety of color schemes. Indoor and outdoor rugs are offered in solid, patterned, kilim, and dhurrie styles. West Elm furniture, such as benches, chairs, sectional sofas, dining collections, and coffee tables, is also available in eco-friendly models.
