We spent five years looking for a sofa that combined comfort, practical styling and eco-friendliness. Our search came to a satisfying end when we kicked back on this all-green, all-purpose rare find. First, the eco lowdown: Our manufacturer... uses only certified sustainable wood frames and water-based wood finishes, recycled fiber filling in the pillows, and soy-based filling in the cushions. Upholstered in 100% linen ticking with tufted buttons - materials that are as durable as they are mindful - cover our sofa. Next, the comfort factor: We sat, we stretched and we were conquered - this is the curl-up sofa of all times. The frames are made from select kiln-dried hardwoods. Joints are double-doweled, and every corner is blocked, screwed and glued so that there are no creaks or sags.
