Flower Sprouts are a cross between Brussels sprouts and kale which, unlike Brussels sprouts, remain open and resemble attractive, ...colorful flowers. They grow on tall, upright plants just like Brussels sprouts. The tender, mildly flavored sprouts have an excellent eating quality and are suitable for sales to high-end restaurants and specialty markets. They are excellent lightly steamed or saut ed. Danver carrots are hardy cool season crop, quick growing and can be stored after harvested. A vigorous vegetable with moderately t...apered, broad shoulders, these carrots grow to about 8″ long are reddish-orange in color and very easy to harvest. The Danver variety is a consistent producer in a wide variety of soils and once harvested is a good keeper. It is not recommended to start these seeds indoors (as with most root vegetables).
