THis was larger and had more options > Love the Cook time! by Kimm, | Wed, Jun 4, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag Very nice oven - BUT.... After several teething troubles including having to return the first oven because when I ran the first high temperature clean to reduce the odor of the new oven I discovered that enamel had chipped off the inside of the top oven at the back. There was no way this could be repaired so the oven had to be replaced (entailing another major disturbance). Then the replacement developed problems with the upper door hinge and also the digital control pad would not work properly, but fortunately these items could be repaired in situ. After that, things settled down, we have had the new oven almost 7 months now and so far so good. On the plus side, this is a really lovely looking oven, it looks beautiful in our kitchen, the lights inside make it sparkle. It cooks well, I have baked and cooked with it and everything was successful. Using both ovens I made a fabulous Christmas dinner, timing all the dishes, keeping casseroles and dishes warm (better than I have ever done before) and generally enjoying the whole (sometimes harrowing) experience of cooking Christmas dinner. Now that I am used to it, I really love this oven. But I DO recommend an extended warranty, the warranty is for one year, if we had had to pay for all the things that have gone wrong it would have been very expensive, it is also terribly inconvenient when things break down. I hope they improve the workmanship because on the whole it is a very nice oven. How I arrived at the three star rating. I would give it five stars for appearance, five for efficiency, four for reliability, (because of the digital remote) and two for workmanship. by AnotherPatty, | Tue, Jun 3, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag great features I've had them for about 2 months and I love them. This was the only one offeredto us from American Home Shield. It was comparable to our old model, as far as function, but the design is very modern, and loks great with the rest of our stainless appliances. There were 2 issues I had in the begining; 1. the new oven was a bit smaller, and we had to have some work done on our custom cabinents, and I am not fond of the minute timer, it took me a while to figure out how to indicate the cook time, I kept getting an error message. I also want to mention that the top trim on the oven has a slight curve to it and does not fit flush against the top of the cabinet trim. View information provided by the manufacturer 1 visitors found this helpfulAll we needed and more than we could hope for We've got a limited kitchen space availability, and no desire to increase oven size. After investigating a number of other ovens in the 27" range- and even trying one other seemingly high quality oven, we were left unimpressed with either quality, available interior space, or noise created by the cooling fans. This Electrolux with the Wave Touch controls has exceeded our rather lofty expectations. The controls are friendly, the ramping up and down of the interior light, the controls turning themselves off after use, the roller shelves, the interior coating's thickness, the reasonably quiet fan, and the efficiency have all been exemplary. Really, the same reasons we've bought all our other Electrolux appliances- far superior at only slightly more cost. The only down sides: the fan is clearly audible, but far more quiet than competitors offerings. Presumably due to the efficiency, it does takes a little longer to heat up to cooking temperature, but there is a fast heat up button if needed for your cooking. That's it. Two quibbles, and they are minor at most. If you're considering this (and assume you are if you've read this far), then go for it. It is worth paying extra for convection because you are able to bake mulitiple items at once and is the BEST at roasting meats. This fan is quieter than my old convection oven and much less noisy than my new microwave. The one negative is that it blows warm air as soon as the unit begins to operate. At a convect temperature of 400 degrees the air blowing out into the room is 90 degrees. At 350, the air temperature is 84. Microwave features sensor cooking with defrost , popcorn and delay... 2 visitors found this helpfulVerified PurchaseKenmore 30" Electric Combination Wall Oven - Stainless Steel I purchased this oven for $1200. For the price it was an excellent choice. It needed reworked a little to fit properly into the cabinet. ---------- 1. I had to shim the top cover of the microwave to raise the bezel around the microwave. Without shimming the bezel the door of the microwave wouldn't open due to friction with the bezel. I placed two sets of two stacked washers, wrapped in electrical tape, under the top steel cover on the right and left. ---------- 2. The microwave assembly was 1/4" too far back. When it was slid into the cabinet the oven assembly was 1/4" from flush with the cabinet. I had to re-drill the black drip pan under the microwave, moving it forward 1/4". I then had to increase the length of the mounting slots that the microwave's mounting screws use. Everything now fits flush against the cabinet. ---------- 3. I had to install a new right angle conduit connector where the power enters the oven. The quick connect style that came with the oven broke during shipping. The hole where it entered the chassis was bent and it slipped out. I hammered the hole flat and used a good threaded connector with fender washers on the inside and outside of the entry point. ---------- The microwave works very well. The oven is OK and looks great in my kitchen. I am still monitoring the temperature accuracy. For a 400 degree preheat the oven took an additional 2 minutes. It then overshot 400 degree mark peaking near 450 degrees. I don't use the oven often. ---------- This unit replaced an 18 year old Magic Chef combo. The new Kenmore combo is much quieter than the old unit. I haven't noticed any excessive fan noise or the fan continuing to run after the oven is turned off. This is by far is the worse oven I have ever owned! I bought because it was attractive and I was looking for a stainless steal wall oven combo. Soon after starting to use the oven...I realized I could never depend on the temperature or the amount of time I normally cooked recipes. I have cooked most of my recipes for over 10 years and never had an oven that burns food so quickly. Whenever I can, I'll cook items in my toaster oven (not kenmore brand) because I at least know that it will cook evenly and accurately. We had a new home built so I purchased all new kenmore appliances...biggest mistake I made! The refrigerator after 1 year leaks from the freezer and broken ice dispenser. If looking at buying Kenmore appliances...look for another brand. I read several reviews before buying the Kenmore appliances and wished I would have heeded their warnings! The design of the microwave plate is poor. It does not seat propery every time causing it to rub against the sides of the microwave which left marks on the three metal sides. It is too expensive to replace the microwave liner. The oven heats too hot from the bottom so baked items get burnt on the bottom while not getting browned enough on the top. I was looking for a microwave that was also a convection oven like the GE Monogram. I thought this was what I was buying after reading your website and speaking with the salesman. The cut outs back then were larger than most of the combo ovens now, and Electrolux was about the best fit. With the 3 inch trim piece, it was perfect in the near 47 inch high cutout. I love cooking now. So far I've had no problems except for once the microwave fan didn't seem to shut off after an item on timer was cancelled. It has not happened again so perhaps it was a one-off glitch. The features are great. The preset menu settings are somewhat limited, however, but for the most part, it can do anything you need. The oven doesn't heat up as fast as I would like, despite the quick preheat function. but I having nothing else modern to compare it to. Perhaps I'm just impatient. We were reluctant to spend the extra money but all others we compared it with seemed cheap. Doors rattled when closing, etc. This unit is a solid piece that we have not had any problems with. It is very expensive and contemporary looking and its cooking has been very good and consistent. Beautiful built in black combo microwave/oven Our new combo microwave/oven is beautiful to look at and very easy to operate. It has a touchpad with easy to understand uses. It's electric and it has a very hot heat in the oven. One drawback with the design is that the oven door has openings on the top. I accidently dropped water down one of the openings and it marked the glass door. We had to remove part of the door to wipe the glass clean. Technology delivers innovative performance so you won?t have to rotate pans or use baking stones". NOT TRUE. Our cookies and pies were burning at the edges so we called Whirlpool customer service. They told us to "rotate the pans"!! I followed up with Whirlpool customer service and they told me that the Whirlpool engineers know that "the edge of the oven will always be hotter than the center due to radiant heat off the oven walls and circulating heat". EvenHeat Technology is NOT WORTH the extra money. by UnEvenHeatMissoula, MT | Mon, Jul 22, 2013 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag 19 visitors found this helpful Awesome I love my new oven/microwave combo. It is beautiful, and the controls are intuitive. I'll start with the oven, then the convection microwave. The oven is simply a work of art. Blue inside, and what I love best about it is that the lights are very bright. When the oven light is off, the glass looks black. When you turn it on, the inside is as bright as a room, and you can see everything cooking. It is like art, and I love to watch it. The oven temps are dead on, and it works well as a convection oven as well as standard. The correction temp program for the convection oven works great, and the probe was dead on when I made a roast. I thought the microwave would be inconvenient because you open it like an oven, and my kids complained, but we have gotten used to it and its fine. The handles match my refrigerator, and they feel really good on my hands when I open the oven. Very ergonomically well thought out. Very very nice. I would recommend this product to a friend. by BoulderkitchengirlBoulder, CO | Sat, Feb 9, 2013 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag read more

This sleekly designed double oven with true convection features a time and temperature conversion system in the upper oven. You si...mply enter your conventional cooking time and temperature, and the oven makes the precise conversion, offering you professional, even results... 1 visitors found this helpfulDispleased An enormous of amount of heat is generated into your kitchen while you are cooking AND for 20+ minutes after you turn the oven off. I understand this is how the oven cools itself, but it's like having a heater blowing. And it's not quiet. There is a distinct hum from the time you turn it on until it has completely cooled. The oven cooks hotter in the front than the back, so you need to rotate your items to keep cooking even. Haven' tried the convection feature yet. While the oven is beautiful, I would not recommend it. by befrbaDallas, TX | Sun, Feb 9, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag 5 visitors found this helpful A great oven for a narrow space I needed a 24" double oven and wanted to upgrade. I really like this oven. The convection is a time saver for baking and potatoes. The button controls are easy to use and fairly obvious. I love having a timer on the oven instead of using the timer on my microwave. There are plenty of racks. The instructions do mention a grid and a roasting pan which have been removed from the product but not updated in the instructions. Kitchenaid service was very friendly and helpful and explained what happened to them. In fact I loved Kitchenaid service as they were knowledgeable, friendly and prompt. I only fumble finger two things. One is the START on the oven, I keep hitting the STOP UPPER OVEN button instead. And the timer is only minutes not seconds, which has caused me to burn a batch of cookies that I wanted to cook for 11.30 and cooked for 11:30 instead. The temperature probe is useful but not for potatoes as it can only measure up to an internal temperature of 190 degrees. I would recommend this product to a friend. by jgraff26Fremont, CA | Thu, Mar 14, 2013 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag 8 visitors found this helpful Cook'n No complaints about the performance of the oven, which, of course, is the most important thing. It heats evenly and I enjoy that aspect. However, I could not recommend it because: 1. It is nearly impossible to remove the cover of the 4 lights to replace the bulbs. Began using the oven about 3 years ago and 3 of the 4 lights have burned out. Nearly impossible to find replacement bulbs, also. 2. In the upper oven the side walls are too tight to slide the rack on in the middle position, the one used most frequently. Quality control poor. by gamacAustin, AR | Sat, Mar 2, 2013 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag 7 visitors found this helpfulKitchenAid Architect 24"double wall oven w/True Convection Extremely disappointed with the item received. It was not what was represented to us in the store. Accessories that were shown to us were not shipped with the oven, oven racks were flimsy and second-rate and were not sturdy as advertised, interior was not the same as represented,(dark grey instead of blue) oven operates fine, but feel cheated since price we paid did not reflect what we received. We (my husband and I) paid top dollar for something and did not get a top dollar oven. by GailmadCopperas Cove, TX | Fri, May 11, 2012 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag 1 visitors found this helpfulKitchenAid double wall oven 24" We recentley had this oven installed. It's a Great upgrade from what we had; spacious, easy to use controls, quick response time for reaching desired temperature. Con: the shelves; we can't use our old cookie sheets since the angle restricts the door from closing. I would recommend this product to a friend. by buffshank1Wilmington, DE | Sat, Mar 10, 2012 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag 10 visitors found this helpfulinadequate cooking controls For the price....this oven does not have a delayed start or prehe read more

Add a sleek, modern accent to the kitchen with the 5.0 cu. ft. single wall oven and the new EasyView? extra-large oven window. Its... extra-large design not only looks great, but also saves energy and keeps oven temperatures steady and undisturbed. Thanks the AccuBake®... 1 visitors found this helpfulEven cooking Oven is very easy to use. If you place your dishes where recommended in manual, you will get even baking. Great product. The only flaw I could find so far is with the fan. It is a little noisy. by Jenny33, | Fri, Apr 11, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag Very satisfied with this wall oven unit. Good features, accurate temperatures. This wall oven was a relacement for an old wall unit oven This product fit our existing cabinet opening perfectly with only minor adjustment. The oven was easy to learn how to use and cooks accurately. Very pleased with it's performance. by Babette, | Fri, Apr 11, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag Great product! Great price! Heats up quickly and cooks evenly. I love the idea that the bottom coil is NOT inside the oven. It is underneath the bottom of the oven. The oven is also much bigger than most other ovens and so I was able to get a turkey in there easily. by LittleGM1996, | Tue, Apr 8, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag good product for the money nice product, cooks evenly for a non-convection. i would recommend it for a moderately priced oven. looks nice. by kszksz, | Mon, Apr 7, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag Easy to use and large window is helpful The wall oven is very simple with basic features, but is user friendly with screen prompts for everything you do.love the large window. The only thing that is a bit annoying is the loud noise the fan makes when you turn the oven off. It takes a long time to cool down, so the noise lasts a long time. Otherwise no complaints so far. by JB1428, | Mon, Apr 7, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag This is a great looking stove This stove cooks about at the temperature it says. I always had to turn my old one hotter to get it to cook. I has a nice clean look to it. It is nice and big on the inside so I can fit two pizzas on one shelf! by Amy40, | Sun, Apr 6, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag Works well.
