Crafted in India from 100 percent premium New Zealand wool, the rugs in this collection are a hand-tufted recreation of intricate Tabriz, Lavar Kerman and Isfahan hand-knotted motifs. In hand-tufting, craftsmen use tools called tufting guns to individually insert each tuft into its place on the rugs predetermined pattern. The tufts are then trimmed and sheared to the appropriate length. Hand-tufting offers high density, a thick pile, and a plush feel.
