I had it delivered and was VERY impressed by the timing and constant updates from Sears. Runs and starts perfectly, very impressed buy the overall fit and finsh for a lawnmower. I would recommend this product to a friend. by JeffinNCMonroe, NC | Fri, Apr 11, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag 51 visitors found this helpfulVerified PurchaseDeck Vibration The deck has way to much vibration for a new mower, I checked the blades, pulleys, and belt. Im going to pull the blades off and engage the PTO and see if the deck still vibrates like crazy. Definitely needs a ON/OFF Switch for the lights, and an Hour Meter. This is my first new Craftsman mower, I don't know how much better the more expensive models are. But if you can afford it, go with a better model (If the vibration isn't as bad.) (Customer service just said bring it back) I don't believe this will solve the issue. As i believe all of these models will do this. I understand it is one of the cheaper models, but i don't believe Craftsman should skimp on one of the most important parts of a mower. This product: Craftsman 46" 19HP Riding Mower - Non CA $1424.99 1 visitors found this helpfulGreat mower I have only had this mower for a week but love it. I have only cut the grass one time and had no problems. I replaced a ********** with it and it is just as good. I chose the Craftsman over the ********** because my son-in law has the Craftsman and I borrowed it when mine broke down and loved it and also for the price difference. It cuts the grass evenly and cranks right up. I am completely satisfied with this choice. The Craftsman T 2400 is a very good yard tractor and mower for the money. I would recommend this product to a friend. by Dallas32Armuchee, GA | Sun, Apr 6, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag 2 visitors found this helpfulExtremely disappointed Got the first one home and finally got to use it 2 days later. Started right up and ran great. As soon as I engaged the mower blades however, it vibrated and shook something awful! I used it for a couple hours and when I got off of it I felt thoroughly beat up! I decided to exchange it and when they brought me the second one I wanted to try it out right away. It started but quickly died (even with adding gas to the tank) and wouldn't restart. Sent that one back too and don't want another! by extdisOakland, OR | Sat, Mar 29, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag 25 visitors found this helpfulReal disappointed I bought this tractor becuase I have always had pretty good luck with craftsman. I have 2 other riding mowers ,one is a 2000 model the other is a 1999 I think. They have their quirks but they are still good. I figured it was time for a new one so I bit the bullet. I got the mower home waited a few days, bad weather, got the mower out did everything by the owners manual, started it up and it purred like a kitten drove it around and said yea this is a ticket! I went to check the cutting height of the deck and low and behold, this thing only cuts 3 heights, down to the dirt, a little higher and almost where I need it out of 6 positions. I gave it a shot and adjusted the anti scalping wheels (the lowest hole) well it cut great but the vibration when you engage the blade and start cutting is going to shake the mower apart. I thought I could deal with the height setting but the vibration is out of this world. My old mowers don't vibrate like this and they are old. The speed is not what you would think it would be either. I got the trailer hooked up and going to take it back I can't believe the vibration, if you were to put a can soda, or other beverage in the cup holder it will empty the can. by juneyflipNewport News, VA | Tue, Mar 11, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag read more
