It may be washed with a mild detergent and water to remove surface dust and dirt. After prolonged exposure to the elements you may want to refinish it. We recommend lightly sanding it prior to refinishing, then use a cloth to remove the dust, refinish with a high quality exterior finish. It may be necessary at times to tighten the bolts and screws.
